Marisol has been actively engaged in New Mexico politics for nearly a decade, driven by a steadfast commitment to advancing women’s rights. Over the years, she has built a strong foundation of leadership and community trust, serving in key roles including precinct chair, ward chair, and ultimately County Party Chair for Bernalillo County. Through each position, she has worked to strengthen civic participation and ensure that women’s voices are represented at every level of the political process.

A proud member of the Fuerzas Unidas Hispanic Caucus, Marisol continues to champion equity and representation within her community. In her current role as CD1 Regional Director of NMFDW, she remains dedicated to uplifting women in politics and fostering the next generation of leaders. Her work reflects a deep belief that empowering women leads to stronger communities, and she remains committed to advancing policies and opportunities that benefit both New Mexico and the nation as a whole.
