STATE LEADERSHIP CHAPTER

I have been a lifelong Democrat. Following a 40-year career in enterprise technology sales, I retired in 2018 with a clear first priority: to give back through active involvement in the Democratic Party. I had the privilege of working alongside a dedicated mentor to build a Democratic club in East Dallas from the ground up, ultimately growing it to more than 5,000 volunteers. Together, we canvassed thousands of doors, made thousands of phone calls, and wrote thousands of postcards — efforts that produced a dramatic increase in voter turnout. We also supported Democratic candidates through community forums and campaign events. When my mentor was elected Chair of Dallas County Democratic Party, that meaningful work continued.
In early 2022, my partner and I relocated to Taos, where I remained committed to Democratic activism. I became actively involved with the Taos County Democratic Party and joined the Taos County Federation of Democratic Women. Most recently, I served as Digital Outreach Lead, taking responsibility for communications, website administration, and — most critically — leading our Vote Builder implementation.
As Secretary of the New Mexico Federation of Democratic Women, I hope to leverage my organizational and business skills to grow the organization, significantly expand voter turnout and elect Democrats at every level across New Mexico, keeping New Mexico Blue. I will use my experience in working with the Taos County Federation of Democratic Women, to grow the local Federation and help them impact our 2026 elections.
