STATE LEADERSHIP CHAPTER

Alma has been involved in the fight for social justice since the age of 16, when she first demonstrated against the war in Vietnam. Alma worked for over thirty years in Behaviorial Health, providing direct services to marginalized populations, writing housing grants and developing treatment programs for pregnant and parenting women with Substance Use Disorders. After serving as president of the Taos chapter for four years, she continues to serve the Federation reviewing and recommending legislation and policy.
